Our Writings On The Wall, Inc., started with the purpose of building a community to support survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence against women and girls. Survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence don't owe us their truths. Whether they share it or not, we must hold space for them to take all the space they need to heal. As survivors and the community are empowered, let us collectively heal.

As a community, we must educate and empower the community to respect and honor one another.

Isaiah 61 says, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,

Because the Lord has anointed Me

To preach good tidings to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives."
